IDG™ for Product
Stop defending the roadmap by capacity
Today, most roadmaps are prioritized by what fits in the quarter and by who best defends their initiative in the room. A day of work with Impact-Driven Growth™ gives you the criteria to decide what gets built first, the method to validate that decision before committing a whole quarter of the team, and the argument to defend it in front of leadership with evidence. Less risk on every roadmap bet.
Friday, October 30, 2026. Barcelona.
A full day workshop with Carlos Iglesias, author of the framework and CEO of Runroom.
What doesn't hold up in front of a board
A full roadmap doesn't mean a right roadmap. The conversation repeats every quarter. How much fits, which team is free, what the loudest client asked for, which feature has been sitting in the backlog for a year and a half.
And then comes the part that's hard to explain. It ships, it's deployed, it's announced. Three months go by and no one can say what it moved in the business. The metric shown is the one that turned out well, picked after the fact.
Product work has a way out of that loop. Define what value the customer perceives first, translate it into observable behaviors, and validate with experiments before committing a whole quarter of the team.
Six layers causally connected, from the value metric to the experiment that validates it
CPVM (Customer Perceived Value Metric)
The metric that measures the real value the business delivers to the customer
Impact metrics
The early signals that predict whether you're heading in the right direction
Outcomes
The behavior changes you need to trigger in the customer
Initiatives
What gets built, designed from strategic clarity
Hypotheses
Verifiable propositions connecting initiative, outcome and metric
Experiments
Empirical validation before committing resources at scale
The framework prioritizes learning and reduces risk. It's validated before committing resources at scale.
For those who own a roadmap
Product managers and product owners who prioritize every quarter. Heads of Product and CPOs who have to defend that prioritization upward. Tech leads and designers with weight in deciding what's in and what's out. Founders who still decide the roadmap themselves.
You come with your own real product challenges. You leave with the framework applied to one of them.
First the theory, at your own pace. Then, a full day of application.
Phase 1. Before the workshop
Enrollment includes the complete Runroom Academy online training. Videos, reference materials and exercises covering the framework's six layers, which each participant completes on their own in the weeks before.
Phase 2. The workshop
The day isn't spent explaining the theory. It's spent applying it, in teams, on the IDG™ Impact Architecture Canvas with sticky notes.
Real challenges, brought by the participants
The day starts by forming teams. Each person proposes a product challenge they have on the table today, and the team picks one from those that came up. That's the challenge the rest of the day is spent on.
From there, the team goes through the framework's six layers, from CPVM to experiment, with Carlos moving between tables, challenging formulations and tightening the rigor of each layer.
Working on someone else's challenge has an advantage solo work doesn't. From the outside, what a company already takes for granted gets questioned.
